My Life Gets Kinda Boring

Hey there. I. Am. So. Relieved. Why? Well, let's just say that if there wasn't any batteries left, I wouldn't be sitting here. The cordless mouse ran out of battery. Hopefully, the batteries will last since I think it has been used before. I mean, I had no other choice. There wasn't any other +AA batteries left. I would probably die of boredom if I had to sit down and watch tv the whole day. Not that there aren't any interesting movies, just that I'm tired of watching them. I could read the new book I bought yesterday though, but I know that it would probably finish by today. Yeah, I can read really fast. So when I read books now, I try and read them as slowly as possible. That way, I can enjoy the book and it won't finish so fast. The last book that I read, I finished it in two days. And that was this week. Bought it on... I think it was a Sunday and finished it on Monday afternoon. Mind you, I started reading on Sunday night. Haha, at least I have another book if I finish this current book. Yeah, I bought two books yesterday. Dad insisted. Well, its worth it cause we took a long time finding the perfect book. 'We' as in me and dad. The other books were either too boring or too romantic. Definitely not my type. I can be really fussy when it comes to books. I don't want something about war or anything like that cause I find it really boring. Neither do I want a book to do with spells or magical creatures, you know that type where the story is about a young girl that meets a magical flying horse called 'you-know-what' and blah blah blah, except Harry Potter which I have already read. Neither do I want what all teenage girl crazes now. Yeah, you got it, vampire stuff and the romance and all that. Since the Twilight saga came out, I see books everywhere about vampire now. Mostly they're the same. Black front cover with a beautiful girl on it. The same synopsis that reads 'Abigail Simons is a Gothic girl who embarks on a journey filled with danger, passion and mystery when she meets Dave, a handsome vampire... etc. etc.' Its always the same. Teenage girl or Gothic girl. Vampire boy. Love. Dangerous choice. Yeah, you get the idea. I like a book about a person's life. No, not an autobiography but something like that. The current book I'm reading, it's called Candor. It's a great example of the type of books I read.

Oscar Banks lives in the pristine town of Candor. Son of the mayor, he is good-looking, smart and popular. And he knows something he shouldn't- he knows about the brainwashing Messages embedded in the music that plays all over the town.

Oscar has found a way to burn counter-Messages that keep him real. Up to now, it's all worked perfectly. There's just one problem: Nia Silva, the newest Candor arrival. What will Oscar risk to keep the Nia he loves rather than watch her become a Candor automaton?

There, you've got the idea. Another example of an interesting book to me is 'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak. It's a great story but it has a really sad ending. The other book I mentioned is 'Marley and Me'. Yeah, the movie was based on this book. I wanted to read this book a long time ago but I'm not quite sure why I didn't. Anyway, you've got the idea. I like reading. It's fun, and entertaining at the same time. Wow, I've just realised I've typed quite a long post. Seems enough to me. Think I'll stop. If I don't I might blabber and blabber, which I don't want to. Lol, I'm in a really good blogging mood today considering the long post I wrote. Please don't mind if there was any spelling or grammar mistakes. I tend to type really fast, like now.
