Hold Me Like A Pillow, Make Me Feel Right

Just two more days and the joy of being a Form 2 is over. I'm gonna make the most out of it while I still can. I think the only fun time yesterday apart from playing Hangman with Shi Hou was during PJ. Soo Ling and I had gone a little bananas. We started changing the lyrics for the song 'Just The Way You Are' by Bruno Mars. Instead, it was meant for a boy and well, it sounded really weird. He's so haanndddsome and he shows it everyday. We had to drag that part because 'beautiful' has three syllables and 'handsome' only has two.

Whoops, should have blogged earlier. I have to prepare for school now so... I guess that's it for today. Thank you, thank you.

Can't Be A Queen Bee Without A Bee Throne

Open Day is on Monday. Yeap, the day where the teacher tells your mum all the mischief you've done. Haha, kidding. It ain't that bad if you're not one of the naughty kids. Lol, I hope I'm not one of them... Anyway, holidays (for me) are gonna begin soon. Three days to be exact excluding today. Then I'm frreeee! Puan Chia said that after Open Day, students are allowed to skip school which doesn't matter because I won't be coming anyway. I just wish that right now teachers would allow us to bring board and card games to play. Just like primary school. But I guess that's primary school and this is secondary school. Life's unfair sometimes, isn't it?

Got some results back already. So far, so bad, I've got 3B's. Uh-oh. BM, KH and for some totally unknown reason... SCIENCE. Out of all subjects, SCIENCE?!?! Yeesh, and to think that I actually did okay for Science. It's okay though. No point crying over spilled milk. What's done has been done and you can't change that unless you have a time machine or an undo button. Or an agreement with you teacher. *wink*, *wink*. Unfortunately, I don't so... Just to bad for me. Although bad stuff comes in life, the good stuff does too. YIPEE! I got an A for Maths! Okay, you'll be thinking 'What's the deal? Everybody gets A for Maths'. True, but not me. For this year. Honestly, I think this is the second time I've got an A for Maths this year out of four papers. Not so good considering I used to go for arithmetic classes when I was younger and I was... Umm... The one everybody envied in the class... Or that's what I think... YEAH, blame it on all the formulas which I luckily managed to remember for this exam. Besides, the JPS paper provided the formulas on which I only referred to once but the formula wasn't there. On second thought, I don't think there was even any formula for that particular question. Oh, nevermind!

I Feel Like A Zombie Gone Back To Life

At first I wanted to put 'thank God the week is done' but it doesn't sound very suitable. After all, the week isn't done yet. Only a day. Like said by my friend, today is Merdeka for all Form 2s. Yeah, I totally agree. Exams are officially over... or until next year. WOOHOO!

Umm... I have nothing else to say...

Oh yeah, I'm gonna return all my textbooks today. Altogether, I have 16 books which I guess, is the correct amount. Don't you just love the feeling when you've finished all your exams? Ahhhhhhh.... I love love love it. Okay, I'm being weird and random again. I'm gonna have to stop before I start blurting out other random stuff without even realizing it.

I Guess I Don't Know My Own Strength

As usual, I had a competition. Yesterday, as a matter of fact. Wasn't playing my best though. Didn't put in enough of effort. Anyway, never mind about that. Met some new friends too.

Yesterday was HALLOWEEN. Boo! Some of my friends went trick-or-treating, I guess. They're so lucky. I've never ever experienced real HALLOWEEN before and I doubt I ever will. Trick-or-treating isn't practiced in this country. It would be fun though. Just imagine... CANDIES... costumes... "trick or treat!"...

Today is the last day of exam. Woohoo! Just two more papers and I'm freeeeeee!!! Siviks and ICTL. I don't understand why we must take ICTL though. The only part I enjoy about it is that we get to go to the IT lab which has air-cond.

Broken Trust And Broken Hearts

Yeah, I got my new specs yesterday but unfortunately I'm not wearing it to school today. It makes me giddy. All new specs are like that. When I first got the specs I'm wearing now, it also made me feel giddy. Haha, guess my eyes aren't used to the new power yet. And funny that my contacts didn't make me feel giddy the first time I wore it.

Holidays are officially over. Part of me wants to return to school but part of me doesn't. I want to see my friends but I want to relax too. Life is so confusing, ain't it? Besides, I want to get my Moral results back. Can't wait!

Hello! Playing checkers with Jeremy on Windows Live Messenger and he just lost. Haha. He beat me in bowling. At first, I was winning but in the end I lost. My ball keep rolling to the side. Just started Bumper Stars now. It's so cool. I never realized we can actually play games on Windows Live Messenger. Haha, now I know. Bumper Stars rock! It's so fun too play it. Not to mention, addictive too!

Showdown Of Champions 2010, A Night Of Aces Gala Dinner

Little did I know that I was in for a very big surprise when I received a message from Christina at 6.13pm.

I was playing Sims, as usual when I received a message. It was from Chris. She said to call her because she needs to talk to me. So I did and the first thing she asked me was 'are you free tonight?' Thoughts started running through my mind. Is this another last minute outing? Apparently not. She asked me whether I could attend a dinner at 7.45pm beacuse Jay Sean would be there. She explained about how Semreeta got an extra free ticket and she asked whether I would like to come. Obviously, I was excited. Not only did I get to see Jay Sean but I got to have dinner there, free. LOL, just joking. I'm not that greedy. She also offered to pick me up. So I called my parents who were at work and they agreed.

The venue was at Double Tree Hilton. When we arrived there, we immediately felt awkward. We were the only kids there and when we entered the ballroom, everyone was staring at us like 'who are they and what are they doing here?' Eek! And I was wearing a pink dress while everyone else are wearing black and mostly dark colours. I only spotted one lady who was wearing pink but she looked fine and confident. A lady led us to a nearby table and we sat there. Me, Christina and her brother. Apparently, some tennis stars were also going to attend the dinner. Anna Kournikova, Pat Cash and some others.

Appetizers came first, followed by soup. Then we were served some type of fish and for main course, lamb. A dish came later which I suppose were desserts. The last dish was chocolates. For a person who don't really fancy chocolate, I only took the white one. The only white one. Semreeta came later on so we were left at the table all by ourselves while we slowly ate our appetizer and drank our soup. As a matter of fact, Jay Sean didn't turn up at all. By time I arrived home, it was about 11.

Yeah, yeah, I apologize for not giving a full report. The dinner wasn't really fun at all considering I didn't know much about tennis. So everytime Chris went up for an autograph or a picture, I would ask 'who was that?'. Honestly, I think the only part I enjoyed was the food. It was okay, though some dishes tasted weird. Like the 'thing' in the soup. Watch out, pictures are below. If you know tennis, than you probably would know who that beautiful blonde player is.
